Personal tour guide for your party exploring amazing and iconic San Francisco destinations.

Your group will love scooting through the Waterfront or Golden Gate Park on our new fleet of Electric Scooters.

This one-of-a-kind fully guided and narrated experience takes you on a memorable and fun filled tour along San Francisco’s picturesque waterfront from Fisherman’s Wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Or choose to start in Golden Gate Park and blast off on our scooters to Ocean Beach. A city as unique as San Francisco demands a unique way to tour it, and an electric scooter is the answer!

TOUR ITINERARIES:

The Wharf to Bridge Scooter Tour route follows the waterfront and allows guests great views of San Francisco Bay and the City Skyline. The Golden Gate Park tour route covers the Western part of the park which covers both famous landmarks and a trip to Ocean Beach.

After a brief training session on how to safely operate the electric scooter, you will explore the San Francisco waterfront or Golden Gate Park for three hours.  Your experienced and fun tour guide will narrate your tour through a compact single ear-bud sound system.

Each guest is issued a compact radio receiver so they don’t miss a detail of what the guide is saying about each site seen on the tour. Numerous stops are made for photos – so don’t forget your camera.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

Can Private Tours be Customized?

Can Private Tours be Customized?

Yes we can make changes in routes, stop longer at a special spot or adjust the route to the guest riding ability.  Let us know what you want to see and do.

There are parts of downtown San Francisco that are too congested for a relaxed tour experience and we suggest not touring in that area.

What are the Rider Requirements ?

Safety is very important to us: All guests must be age 16 or older and weight no more than 290 lbs. (131 kilos).  Under age 18 must tour with parent or guardian. (Age requirement is current CA state law)

Scooter riding is not recommended for pregnant women. Unfortunately, pregnant guests will not be permitted to participate due to fall risk.

NOTE: If you have never ridden a bike this may not be the activity for you. Riding a scooter requires side to side balance similar to riding a bike. IMPORTANT: Due to time limits we CANNOT provide riders with no previous bike riding experience with  full training on riding and most importantly balancing on a scooter.
The equipment recap and skills overview session provides riders with a quick overview of the scooter controls, knowledge, and experience needed to safely operate the Scooters. You will  be guided through a low speed ride and an emergency stop to ensure a safe, enjoyable experience.

An electric scooter is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues. All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the scooter platform without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail.

On some hills the scooter will require a bit of “kick” to maintain momentum. The electric motors are helpful on the hills but are not strong enough to propel heavier guests up some slopes. Be prepared to kick.

If you book a tour and any of your guests do not meet the minimum age / weight criteria they will not be allowed on the tour and you will not be given a refund or rescheduled.

Due to fall risk this activity is NOT recommended for some guests age 70 and up or guests with recent surgery, mobility/ motor control issues and other disabilities. Please call to discuss prior to booking.

Be able to stand on the Scooter for a period of 1-2 hours.

Wear the helmet and safety vest that is provided with the tour.

Review and sign a liability waiver.

Respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe enjoyable ride.

Complete the scooter rider recap.

Respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe enjoyable ride. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in and be ready for fun!

Do your tours go across or to the Golden Gate Bridge?

Do your tours go across or to the Golden Gate Bridge?

This is a popular request and the answer is unfortunately no – Electric Scooter riding is not allowed on the Bridge.  Electric Scooters for safety reasons are not allowed on the bridge sidewalks. We can park the scooters near the bridge sidewalk entrance and walk out.

We do get amazing views of the Bridge, Fort Point, Bridge Overlook and San Francisco Bay from our scooter tour routes.

Do you offer shorter time Private tours?

Do you offer shorter time Private tours?

We can shorten the time slightly for Private Tours. We don’t recommend making a private tour event less that 1.5 to 2 hours. The training takes between 10-15 minutes and for guest safety cannot be shortened.  Larger groups (over 25 guests) can take a bit longer to train and we do want you to see some of the city too!

Please ask our team building experts what will work with your available time.
